01 Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Confluo, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and are capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

02 The service

Confluo is a universal AI memory platform. It helps you capture conversations from the AI tools you use, extract structured knowledge from them, and reuse that context across projects and models. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the Service evolves.

Confluo is currently offered as an evolving product. Some features may be in early access, and behavior may change as we improve the Service.

03 Accounts

You need an account to use most of Confluo. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials and any access tokens secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

04 Plans & payment

Confluo offers a free plan and paid plans:

• Free. Includes a set number of projects and memory blocks, both capture methods, Switch Context, and team chat, at no cost and with no expiry.
• Pro. A paid plan that unlocks higher or unlimited limits and additional features. Pricing is shown on our website and may change with notice.

Automatic renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, using your saved payment method, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charges are made.

Refunds. We offer a 14-day refund window on new subscriptions and on renewals you did not intend, along with refunds for duplicate charges and extended service failures. Full details are in our Refunds & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Taxes and payment processing. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout and added to the displayed price. Payments are processed by Kelviq, which acts as the merchant of record; charges may appear on your statement as KELVIQ. Confluo does not receive or store your card details.

Price changes. We may change plan features and pricing. Changes apply from your next billing cycle, and we will give reasonable notice by email beforehand.

05 Your content

You retain all ownership of the conversations, notes, files, and memories you save to Confluo ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

You grant Confluo a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to run extraction, build your timeline and knowledge graph, and generate Switch Context briefs. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to routine backup cycles.

You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to save and process it through Confluo.

06 Acceptable use

You agree not to use Confluo to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Upload or process content you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to access other users' data, or probe, scan, or breach the Service's security.
• Disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service or its access tokens beyond what these Terms allow.
• Use the Service to build a directly competing product by scraping or bulk-extracting it.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

07 Third-party services

Confluo connects with third-party tools and services — including AI providers used for extraction, cloud infrastructure, and the AI platforms you capture conversations from. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. Confluo is not responsible for third-party services, and we do not control their availability or behavior. The names of AI products and platforms referenced in Confluo belong to their respective owners; Confluo is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

08 Intellectual property

Confluo, including its name, design, software, and content we create, is owned by Confluo and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding, logos, or design except as needed to use the Service normally. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

09 Disclaimers

Confluo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI extraction will be complete or accurate. AI-generated output may contain mistakes — always review it before relying on it.

10 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Confluo and its maker will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to Confluo in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or, if you use only the free plan, to a nominal amount permitted by law.

11 Termination

You may stop using Confluo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

12 Changes & contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Your continued use of Confluo after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
